Client: Sarissa is a manufacturer of Quality Assist Systems that allows the precise determination of an object’s position and speed. Quality Assist Systems are based on a set of ultrasonic transmitters (attached to a tool or the operator’s hand), a receiver and a desktop application which controls the workflow. Sarissa offers a desktop application for the creation of the workflow.
Challenge: The creation of a workflow at Quality Assist Systems typically involves details of the system and adding pictures, text and overlays to the various steps within the workflow. Sarissa was challenged by an application that was not user friendly while often crucial information that needed to be gathered was missing. The objective for the application was to facilitate employees at the production line with quick workflow comprised of pictures, text and overlays that can be imported for further editing.
Solution: SSI partnered with Sarissa to develop Easyworkflow app which is very similar to a slideshow creator app with which the user can take pictures and arrange them freely. Additionally the user has the flexibility to add very specific information to each single step in the slideshow, such as text, background information, type information and one overlay object. This extra information is tailored for the need of Sarissa to create a simple workflow for their new employees and new clients.
Result: With the help of these new application, employees at Sarissa are well equipped to understand and manage Quality Assist Systems. The app has increased operational efficiency of the client.
